Plagiarism and Originality
NJOMI is committed to publication integrity. All submitted manuscripts are expected to be original, not under simultaneous evaluation elsewhere, and submitted in good faith.
To protect originality, NJOMI applies plagiarism screening and reviewer checks for substantial overlap with existing published material.
Authors are responsible for:
- originality of their work and honest reporting of methods and results,
- obtaining permissions for any third-party data, figures, datasets, or textual material,
- accurate citation of all sources and prior publications.
When plagiarism or originality issues are identified:
- Pre-review stage: authors are asked to correct and resubmit.
- Post-review stage: the issue is referred to editorial action and may lead to rejection.
- Post-acceptance: serious integrity breaches may trigger corrections, retractions, or withdrawal procedures.
NJOMI follows internationally accepted publication ethics standards and works with authors to resolve disputes in a fair and documented process.
